By creating an account or using Byebye, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines referenced within. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Byebye is a personal inventory and awareness tool that helps you understand the true cost of owning things over time. Features include item tracking, usage logging, insights, collections, spaces, public profiles, a community marketplace, and user-to-user chat.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Byebye. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Byebye allows you to create and share content, including item descriptions, photos, collection names, space descriptions, marketplace listings, chat messages, profile information, and labels ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it on Byebye you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it within the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree that your User Content will not:
We reserve the right — but are not obligated — to review, edit, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including content that we believe violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Content that is made public (public profiles, shared collections, marketplace listings) is visible to all users and may be indexed by search engines. You are responsible for the visibility settings you choose.
You can report objectionable content or abusive users at any time using the in-app reporting tools. We review every report and will take appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension. You may also block any user at any time; blocking is instant and private.
The marketplace feature allows users to list items for sale or donation. Byebye does not process payments, facilitate transactions, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items. All transactions are solely between users. You agree to act honestly and in good faith when using the marketplace.
Byebye provides user-to-user messaging. Chat messages are private between participants. The same content standards that apply to all User Content apply to chat messages. We may review messages in response to reports of abuse or violations.
Byebye Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Payment is processed by the respective platform, not by Byebye directly. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the policies of your app store. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings at any time.
The Byebye app, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by 9to5Central and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Byebye at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Byebye and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Byebye, 9to5Central, and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
